   Self-hosted faces

   Fraunces and Spectral, the two the brand runs, served from this origin.

   They came off a CDN until 23 August 2026. A web font from a third party
   shows that third party the IP address of every client who opens a page about
   their private booking, which is a disclosure nobody agreed to and one the
   application cannot see happening. It also means the Content Security Policy
   has to name an external origin, and the one that gets added for a font is
   the one that is still there when something else wants it.

   Both faces are SIL Open Font License 1.1. The licenses travel with them:
   OFL-fraunces.txt and OFL-spectral.txt in this directory. Do not remove them.

   Two things about this file are deliberate.

   `font-display: swap` - text is readable in Georgia from the first paint and
   reflows when the face arrives. A form filled in on a phone on a bad airport
   connection must not be invisible while a font downloads.

   `unicode-range` on every face - the browser fetches a subset only when the
   page actually contains a character from it. Vietnamese sits here costing
   nothing on a page that never uses it, and it is here because a client's name
   rendering half in Spectral and half in Georgia looks like a broken page
   rather than a missing font.

   Fraunces is variable: one file covers 400 to 900, so the six static weights
   the old CDN link asked for are two files. Spectral is not, so its weights are
   listed individually. Weight 300 was in the old link and used nowhere, and is
   not here.

   Generated from the faces actually in use. Do not hand-edit: add a weight to
   the design, re-derive this, and let the test that reads the directory fail
   first.
